A good quality mahogany writing table dating from the early to mid 19th century. It stands on turned legs with a beautiful outswept fluted design. It has two drawers with turned knobs and there is a raised shaped gallery around the top edge.
It is in very good condition with a beautiful rich patina. The table is strong and sturdy and the drawers open smoothly. There are a few marks and stains on the top surface, some light scratches and surface marks and a chip on the back of one knob but nothing detrimental and overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
