A lovely stripped pine chest of drawers dating from late 19th Century. The pine has a nice mellow colour and it is a good large size offering plenty of storage. Each drawer has its original turned wooden knobs and brass escutcheons and it stands on its original turned legs.
It is in good condition for its age with a nice smooth waxed finish. Each drawer is generally clean and tidy and opens and closes smoothly. There are some signs of age and use with light surface marks, minor knocks and a few old splits but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
