Product Details

A lovely Victorian farmhouse table dating from the late 19th Century. It has a thick planked ash top and a single drawer with turned knobs. The table stands on turned oak legs with brass castors. The table has a wonderful patina and the top has a lovely warm colour and grain.

It is a good size, big enough to seat 6-8 comfortably and a good height to sit at with leg clearance of 24" (61cm) all the way around.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are many old historic woodworm holes and signs of age and use but it is a solid and sturdy piece. It has been treated, cleaned and gently polished and displays beautifully. There have been some repairs and restorations over the years but it all adds to the history and character of the piece.
