A fine example of a huge solid silver salver dish with Chippendale style wavy rim set on 4 scrolling feet. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 2790g.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1899 and the maker Goldsmiths & Silversmiths.
It is in excellent condition for its age. It has never been engraved and there are no major damages. There are some faint surface marks and very light surface scratches but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
