A good example of a large carved wood standard lamp dating from the mid 20th century. It is a good quality heavy piece with a painted gilt finish.
It has been PAT tested and rewired to modern standards to take a standard bayonet bulb.
The lamp is in good condition with some minor signs of age and wear, some small chips and splits but nothing detrimental and no major damages. It is strong and sturdy and displays well.
