A lovely mahogany revolving bookcase dating from the early 20th Century. It has two levels and stands on a rotating base with castors below. It is a useful small size and an unusual design having crossed borders, a brass centre rod and applied gilt brass molding.
The wood has a nice rich colour and the whole piece is in good condition with no major damages and revolves freely. There are signs of age and use, some minor knocks and light wear and a few water marks but nothing untoward or detrimental. It has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
