Antique French Oak Pot Cupboard

A lovely antique oak pot cupboard. It dates from the early 20th century and most likely originates from France. It has a small drawer above a cupboard, both with turned knobs. The cupboard door opens to a shelved interior and it stands on a plinth base. It is a good quality piece with nice raised moulded detail on the door and a lovely patina.

It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are some signs of age and use, a few minor marks and knocks and an old shrinkage split in the top but nothing detrimental. There are some old woodworm holes around the base and the back which has all treated as a precaution and overall it displays well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
