A large double weave Welsh wool blanket dating from the mid 20th Century. It is a traditional Portcullis tapestry design with two distinct colourways on each side of the blanket in shades of brown and beige with a fringed edge.
It is in good condition for its age although there are a few small areas of wear and a couple of pulled threads (see photos) but overall it displays well.
