A lovely vintage globe on a hexagonal bakelite base with chrome axis. It is brightly coloured and displays well. The globe dates from around the 1970s and is marked "Philips' Scan-Globe A/S Denmark. George Philip & Son Ltd London".
It is in good condition for its age and spins freely on its axis. The globe has been lightly cleaned to preserve its original aged patina and is ready for display. There is some minor wear to the surface of the globe - some light scuffs and small areas which have rubbed over the years but nothing detrimental or untoward for a globe of this age.
