A lovely example of a hand painted standard lamp dating from the mid 20th century. It has a round base with three small feet and an elegant turned upright with faux candle bulb holder. It has its original gilt and painted decoration with lots of lovely details.
It has been rewired to modern standards to take a standard bayonet bulb and is PAT Tested.
The lamp is in good condition and is strong and sturdy. There are some signs of age and wear, some small losses and chips to the paint here and there and some minor wear to the finish but nothing detrimental and it has a lovely patina.
