A lovely example of a vintage fly fishing box by Hardy Bros. The model is the popular 'Neroda' with a faux tortoiseshell finish, 6 alloy rivets, a 6 screw chromed hinge and 40 large finger style clips for salmon flies. As with all Hardy products it is excellent quality and it even comes with a selection of salmon flies, including some unused in their original packets.
It is in very good condition for its age and displays well. The hinge and the clasp are strong and there are no major damages to the outer box. There are some minor signs of age and use and a few small marks here and there but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and is ready for use.
