Lovely elegant folding steamer chair made of Beech. It dates from the early 20th Century. These chairs were used on boats and it is marked "Fishenden. Capt" -
either for the Captain of the Fishenden or for Captain Fishenden!
It is very nicely made and is high quality. It folds smoothly and has a lovely worn and aged patina.
It is a standard size, being approximately 43" high and there are 24" between the arms.
