A lovely example of a walnut table cabinet dating from the late 19th century. It is a simple elegant design with doors opening to reveal two drawers with inset brass military style handles. The drawers and even the inside of the doors are beautifully veneered in a rich walnut. It comes with a working key.
The whole piece is in good condition and although it has been used it has been well looked after over the years. The wood has developed a lovely rich patina and the interior is clean and tidy. There are a few small knocks and marks around the outside, general signs of age and use and a couple of chips to the edges of the drawers (see photos) but overall it displays well. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
