Victorian Walnut Stationery Cabinet by Waterlow & Sons
A beautiful antique desktop stationery cabinet dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It is made of walnut and has two glass inkwells with brass tops either side of a dished pen tray. Above this is a turned wooden straight edge. Behind the inkwells is a hinged letter / stationery rack with a beautifully curved lid. There is a maker's plaque inside for "Waterlow & Sons. Manufacturers. London"
It is in very good condition with a lovely patina. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few small knocks and marks and some minor wear to the finish but nothing detrimental. The inkwells are in very good condition with no major damages and the interior is clean and tidy.
