An unusual steel sewing clamp dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It has an adjustable clamp to attach to a table and a sprung clip for holding thread or accessories. There is also a pin cushion on the top. A complete set up for the mobile sewer!
It is in good condition for its age. There are a few small knocks and marks and some tarnishing to the metal but nothing detrimental and it displays well.
