A fine example of a small antique Sterling Silver vesta case. It is an unusual round shape and is decorated all over with an engraved scrolling design. It has a cartouche on one side engraved with initials 'C.E'. It has a hinged lid with gilt interior and a ribbed base for striking.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1900, Constantine & Floyd.
It is good quality and well made, weighing approximately 21g.
It is in good condition with a clear hallmark. There are no major damages and it displays well. There are signs of age and use and some faint surface marks and a couple of small dents but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
