Product Details

A good example of an antique silver tea caddy with its original lid. It is a quatrefoil shape and is beautifully decorated with repousse scenes of an eastern theme with dragons and other flowers and motifs. It is good quality, weighing approximately 300g.

It is clearly hallmarked on the base and the lid for London, 1901 and the maker John Henry Rawlings.

It is in good condition for its age and displays beautifully. There are a few light surface marks and some minor signs of age and use but no major dents or damages and it is certainly a very usable piece.
