Product Details

A good example of a small Sterling Silver cream jug. It is an elegant design with a squat rounded body, wavy rim and pronounced sparrow beak lip. It is ornately decorated in a repousse design of swirls and flowers. It has a cartouche on both sides, one of which is engraved with scrolling initials which look like JEH. The jug is stylish and good quality and weighs approximately 39g.

It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1894 and the maker George Unite.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks, minor dinks and light signs of age and use but nothing detrimental and it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
