A lovely Victorian farmhouse table dating from the late 19th Century. It has a chunky pine planked top and stands on turned legs with a single drawer. The legs have their original dark painted finish and stand on brass castors. The pine top has a lovely warm colour and lovely aged patina.
It is a good size, big enough to seat 4-6 comfortably, and a good height to sit at with leg clearance of 24" (61cm) all the way around.
It is in good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. There are some signs of age and use, some old marks and knocks on the top but nothing detrimental or untoward. There have been some old repairs and the lining of the drawer has been replaced at some point but overall the table is in good condition and displays well. It has been cleaned and lightly waxed and is ready for use.
