A large Victorian pine dresser base dating from the mid to late 19th Century. It has 7 graduated drawers with white ceramic knobs arranged around a central shelved cupboard. It is a well made piece with attractive mouldings on the sides and it stands on bun feet.
It is in good condition for its age and it is strong and sturdy. There are signs of age and use, various marks and knocks on the top surface but nothing detrimental and it has a lovely patina. The drawers are generally clean and tidy and all open smoothly. The handles are not original but suit the piece well and overall it displays beautifully. It has been cleaned and given a gentle wax polish and is ready for use.
