Victorian Pine Bow Front Chest of Drawers

A good quality pine chest of drawers dating from mid to late 19th Century. It has an attractive bow front and the pine has mellowed to a nice warm colour. Each drawer has its original turned wooden knobs and the chest stands on turned bun feet.

It is in very good condition for its age. Each drawer is generally clean and tidy and opens and closes smoothly. There are signs of age and use with some light surface marks, minor knocks and a few old shrinkage splits but nothing detrimental. There are some signs of historic worm which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. It has been cleaned and given a light wax polish and is ready for use.
