A good quality and very decorative still life oil painting dating from the late 19th Century. It depicts a traditional fruit scene including grapes, apples and oranges with a signature in the bottom left corner "J.H.F".
It is framed it its original good quality gilt frame with a gilt slip and the painting is behind glass. There is a paper label on the reverse from "The Museum Galleries" which titles the painting "Still Life Fruit, original painting by J.H.F".
The painting is in good original condition. The frame has a few small knocks and losses but nothing detrimental.
