A very good quality oak buffet / dumb waiter dating from the mid 19th Century. It has three tiers supported by turned columns with bulbous turned finials and it stands on large original brass castors.
It is in good original condition and is a sturdy piece. There are signs of age and use, some old surface scratches and light marks but nothing detrimental and it has developed a lovely rich patina. There are some signs of historic worm in one of the rear supports and a small corner piece has been repaired (see photos). All the worm has been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
