An elegant mahogany table dating from the early 19th Century. It stands on turned end supports with splayed cabriole legs. The table top has a deep frieze and a moulded edge with a raised shaped gallery around three edges.
It is a good quality piece and the quality of the timbers and the workmanship is superb.
It is in excellent condition for its age and has a lovely rich colour. There are signs of age and use and some minor old marks on the top surface and small knocks around the base but nothing untoward or detrimental and no major damages. It is a good sturdy table and has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
