A good quality mahogany hall stand dating from the mid to late 19th century. It has an arrangement of 12 large mushroom shaped pegs over four branches. It has a rectangular base stood on bun feet with its original metal drip tray.
It is in good condition for its age and the mahogany has developed a lovely rich colour and patination. There are signs of age and use, some small knocks and marks but nothing detrimental and no major damages. The whole piece is strong and sturdy and displays well. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
