Product Details

A lovely mahogany cabinet dating from the late 19th Century. The top section has two glazed doors opening to a shelved interior with three adjustable shelves. The bottom section has two panelled doors that open to a shelved interior and there is a small drawer above. Both sets of doors come with working keys. The top part of the dresser is slightly set back and the whole piece splits into two parts for transport.

It is a good quality piece with arched panels and nicely shaped corbels flanking the cupboard doors. The mahogany has mellowed to a lovely colour over the years and the whole piece has a nice aged patina.

It is a nice small size and would lend itself to a bookcase or glass cabinet.

It is in good condition throughout and is strong and sturdy. It is not without some signs of age and use, some small marks and minor knocks and stains but no major damages. There have been some repairs to chips in the veneer around the doors and a few other minor repairs but nothing untoward or detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
