Victorian Mahogany Framed Armchair
A good quality Victorian armchair dating from the late 1800s. It has bulbous turned front legs and splayed rear legs terminating in the original castors. It is a traditional shape with a deep seat and scrolling arms.
It has been beautifully upholstered in a William Morris style ruskin fabric with matching piping. The upholstery is not new but is excellent quality and is generally clean and tidy.
The chair is a medium size, not as small as a nursing chair but not as large as a wing armchair.
The chair is in very good condition for its age and is very comfortable. There are some light marks and small knocks around the legs but nothing detrimental. There is an old repair to one leg but it is strong and sturdy.
