A good quality open bookcase dating from the late 19th Century. It is made of the most beautiful golden oak with a very pleasant colour and grain. It is a simple design set on a plinth base with chamfered columns flanking the open front. It has two adjustable shelves which can be moved up and down using holders on grooves in the sides.
It has its original paper maker's label for Edwards & Roberts on the reverse.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. It is not without some small knocks and marks and minor chips around the base (see photos) but nothing detrimental. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
