Product Details

A beautiful example of a double ended scent bottle dating from the late 19th Century. It has ornate silver tops, one end is hinged and the other end is a screw top. The hinged end also has its original ground glass stopper. The bottle itself is excellent quality and made from deep ruby red coloured glass.

There are no silver hallmarks and it would have been common to not mark pieces like this but it has been tested as silver.

It is in very good condition for its age. There are some small marks here and there, minor dinks to the silver ends and general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. There are no major cracks or damages to the glass. It has been cleaned and gently polished and overall it displays very well.
