A lovely antique oak side table dating from the mid 19th Century. It has a planked top and stands on tapering turned legs. It has a single drawer with its original turned knobs and fine dovetail joints. A good size for a side table or a small writing desk.
It is in very good condition for its age and is strong and sturdy. The drawer opens well and is generally clean and tidy inside. There are some minor signs of age and use, some light knocks and minor old marks and stains on the top surface but nothing detrimental and the whole piece has a lovely rich patina. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
