A good example of an antique copper jam pan dating from the mid 19th Century. It is a good quality piece made from heavy gauge copper with a rolled rim and two large brass handles. It also has a stamped letter 'D' on the base.
It is in good original condition and displays well. There are no major damages, splits or holes. There are some signs of age and use, some minor dents, dinks and surface marks but nothing untoward. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
