A good quality Victorian copper coal scuttle. It is a traditional shape with a swing handle and a handle on the rear to pour the coal. It is very well made from heavy gauge copper with a rolled rim and neat seam and riveted detail on the handles.
It is in good original condition and displays beautifully. There are no damages, splits or holes. There are some minor dinks and dents and signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
