Good example of an antique cast iron boot scraper dating from the late 19th Century. Well made and a very decorative piece with a wonderful weathered patina. The scraper is stamped with the makers name "Carron".
It is in good original condition with no major damages. It is strong and sturdy and will withstand plenty of use.
