A good quality umbrella from renowned makers "Swaine Adeney Brigg", dating from the second half of the 20th Century. The umbrella canopy is black and has a button tie. It has a malacca handle with a brass tip and brass band engraved with their Royal Warrant "By Appointment to HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. Umbrella Makers. Swaine Adeney Brigg Limited".
It is very well made and in good condition for its age. It has obviously been used but still has plenty of life left in it. The mechanics work and it opens and closes smoothly. There are normal signs of age and use and some slight wear to the handle and canopy but no major damages and it is strong and sturdy.
