A good example of an antique sterling silver fountain pen with a 14ct gold nib. The ornately engraved silver casing is stamped "Sterling Silver" and also marked for the makers "Macniven & Cameron Ltd, Edinburgh". The nib also has the same makers name. It likely dates from the early 20th Century.
It is in good condition for its age. There are some faint surface marks and a few small dinks to the outer casing but no major damages and it displays well. There is some wear and signs of use to the nib and it has not been tested.
