A good example of an original railway signalling lamp dating from the early 20th Century. It has a copperised finish and is stamped S(E)R for South Eastern Railway. It is complete with its original oil burner and it also has its original triple aspect filter with red glass and blue glass.
It is in good condition for its age. There is a small chip to the edge of the front glass and there is some wear to the finish, minor corrosion and some knocks and marks in places but overall it displays well. The lamp is untested but I see no reason why the burner wouldn't work.
