A lovely small oak Settle dating from the late 18th Century. It is a good quality piece with a wonderful patina. It has a panelled back with beautifully shaped arms on turned supports and it stands on elegant cabriole front legs.
The settle is in good condition and displays well. There are of course signs of age and use and small knocks and marks but no major damages. There have been some historic repairs and restorations over the years but the whole piece is strong and sturdy. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
