A small mahogany chest of drawers dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. Excellent quality and very well made with a lovely rich patina. It has three long drawers, each with its original brass swan neck handles and it stands on bracket feet.
It is in good condition for its age. The oak lined drawers open well and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are the usual signs of age and wear, some minor old marks and knocks, some old repairs here and there but nothing untoward or detrimental. There are some signs of historic worm in the back which has all been treated as a precaution. The chest has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
