A lovely pine chest of drawers dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. The drawers have turned wooden knobs, brass escutcheons and the chest stands on turned feet. It is a good quality piece with a smooth waxed finish and attractive warm colour.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are some signs of age and use, a few small marks and knocks but nothing detrimental and it is strong and sturdy. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
