A good example of a sterling silver anointing spoon, a replica of the Royal anointing spoon used in Coronations and kept in Westminster Abbey. It is ornately decorated and has a long handle with a gilded bowl. It is excellent quality and weighs approximately 53g.
It is clearly hallmarked for London, 1902 and the maker Sibray Hall & Co Ltd.
It is in excellent condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks but nothing detrimental.
