A good example of a silver capstan style inkwell complete with its original glass liner. It is a stylish and good quality piece with a large round weighted base and hinged lid.
It is clearly hallmarked for Birmingham, 1993.
It is in good condition for its age and displays well. There are no major damages, just some faint surface marks, a few light scratches and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
