Set of 4 Antique Oak Ladderback Dining Chairs
A lovely set of 4 country ladderback dining chairs dating from the early 20th Century. They are made of oak which has a lovely rich patina. They have their original woven rush seats and they stand on turned tapering legs joined by stretchers.
The chairs are a good size and are comfortable to sit in. The seats are approximately 16 1/2" (42cm) high, 16" (41cm) deep and 20 1/2" (52cm) wide. The chairs themselves are 40" (102cm) high.
They are in very good condition with no major damages. The chairs are firm and the joints are strong. There are a few knocks and light scuffs around the legs and some minor age-related marks here and there but nothing detrimental. The rush seats have some minor signs of wear in places but are strong and sturdy. The chairs have all been cleaned and lightly polished and are ready for use.
