A good set of 4 wheelback farmhouse dining chairs dating from the late 19th / early 20th Century. They have spindle backs and nicely shaped elm seats with a lovely grain. They stand on ring turned legs joined by H-stretchers.
The chairs stand approximately 35 1/2" (90cm) high. The seats are 18" (46cm) deep, 15" (38cm) wide and 17 13/4" (45cm) high.
They are in good condition with a nice colour and are strong and sturdy with no major damages. There are signs of age and use, some marks and light knocks on the seats but nothing detrimental. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
