Set of 20 Antique Crystal Prism Models
A complete set of 20 glass prism models dating from the early 20th Century. The set looks to be German in origin judging by the labels. The set was likely used for studying crystallography or mineralogy to demonstrate the principles of crystal structure and symmetry.
The set includes a collection of geometric shapes representing different crystal forms, such as pyramids, prisms, octahedra, and dodecahedra. The lid features a diagram illustrating various crystal systems and combinations with German labels, including "Hexagonale Pyramide" (Hexagonal Pyramid), "Hexaeder" (Hexahedron), and "Rhomben-Dodekaeder" (Rhombic Dodecahedron).
The models are neatly arranged in a compartmentalized box, each resting on a soft, protective lining.
The glass models themselves are in very good condition with no major damages, having been protected by the box. The box has suffered some wear over the years, with some tears and marks on the outside and the black outer cover is wearing and breaking down in places but overall it displays well as a set.
