Regency Rosewood Card Table
An elegant regency rosewood card table dating from the early 19th century. It stands on a central tapering column with quatrefoil base and large brass lions paw feet with castors below. The table top swivels and opens out into a large card table, the inside lined with brown baize.
It is in excellent condition for its age. The rosewood top has a lovely colour and grain and it is strong and sturdy. There are some signs of age and use, some minor marks and knocks and some wear to the baize lining, particularly along the crease, but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
