A beautiful mahogany chest of drawers dating from the early 19th Century. It has two short over three long drawers, each with their original turned ebonised knobs. It is a good quality piece with an inlaid border and it stands on bracket feet
It is in good condition for its age with a lovely patina. The drawers open smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside. There are some signs of wear, some minor marks on the top, small knocks and there has been a repair to one foot but it is strong and sturdy and displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
