Product Details
A matching pair of solid silver salt cellars of oval shape with a pretty pierced design and decorative floral swags around the bodies. They stand on four small raised feet and both have their original blue glass liners. They are stylish and good quality and weigh approximately 44g without the liners.
They are both clearly hallmarked for Chester, 1899 and the maker William Aitken.
They are in good condition for their age. There are some faint surface marks and spots of tarnish and a couple of small chips to the rim of the liners (see photos) but no major damages and they display well. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
