A matching pair of large sterling silver spoons with intricate twisted and beaded handles. They have ornately decorated gilt bowls with repousse foliate and scrolling designs. They are excellent quality and weigh approximately 116g.
The spoons are hallmarked for London, 1899 although it is hard to distinguish the maker.
They are in excellent condition for their age. There are some faint surface marks but nothing detrimental and no major damages. They have been gently cleaned and polished and they display beautifully.
