A good example of a pair of antique Sterling Silver candlesticks. They are a short squat design and were likely made to be used on a desk. They are stylish pieces with a band of greek key decoration around the base and the top. They are good quality with weighted bases and both are hallmarked for Chester, 1908, S.Blanckensee & Son Ltd.
They are in good condition for their age. There are some minor dinks around the top and some light surface marks, knocks and signs of age and use but overall they display well. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
