Product Details

A good quality set of silver salts and spoons in their original fitted case. The salt dishes are elegant boat shapes with reeded detail and flared repousse decorated rims. The spoons have ball finials. The interior of the salt dishes and the heads of the spoons are all gilded, although there has been some wear and fading through use.

Each piece is individually hallmarked for Birmingham, 1906. The salts were made by I.S. Greenburg & Co and the spoons by William Davenport. The total weight of silver is approximately 25g.

The whole set is in good condition. There are some minor signs of age and use, a few faint surface marks and minor dinks but nothing detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.

The box is good quality with a silk lining and fitted velvet base and it is generally clean and tidy. There are some small scuffs around the outside of the box but nothing major and it displays well.
